Italian Week set to light up Brisbane in Green white and Red for its 10th Anniversary
From Illuminations to food festival to opera and food tastings Italian Week is nearly here.

Prepare to savour the tastes, sights and sounds of Italy when the Brisbane Italian Street Food and Wine Festival descends on New Farm Park on the 29th May 2016.
Italian Week executive Producer, Cav. Alessandro Sorbello invites you to experience a taste of Italy, from Italian Street food and Italian wines accompanied by live music.The festival will sit on the riverfront in beautiful New Farm Park where street vendors will be serving wood fired pizza, pasta and delicious gelato, with Italian wines coming from several regions around Italy.
Come and try Italian pizza from Pizza Volante, In Strada Woodfire Pizzeria and Pizza Antica Napoli Style Pizza; delicious pasta from Gnocchi Gnocchi, Gemelli Italian, Gusto da Gianni and Mangia Mangia. And let us not forget the exquisite gelato, made by La Macelleria, Dippin’ Dots, Gelato Bar, Gelateria Cremona, mouth-watering donuts by Donut Kitchen and Eataliano, Italian-style arancini prepared by Arancini boys. Espresso Xcellence will bring the coffee, Colle Rosso and I heart Calamari will provide tempting calamari, Two Teas, Rainbow Smash and Solerno cater beverages

Story Bridge Illumination
This year Italian Week will host the largest ever Illumination with the following super structures being lit up in Green, White and Red.

Also! The Brisbane City Council has confirmed that Italian Week’s application for the Light-Up of the Story Bridge will be added to Brisbane's annual calendar. After first lighting up the Story Bridge in 2011, it will now be an annual feature of Italian Week. In 2016 it will be illuminated for one week!!!
